Okay, I'm curious...WHY wasn't the tariff block put into effect? Why was there a stay? Is there really a belief that the Supremes will overturn the appellate ruling that a president issuing tariffs is unconstitutional? Usually there's a stay of a decision if there's a strong belief that a higher level court (the Supremes are the next stop, I think) might reasonably overturn their decision.

The Roe Overturning Court probably makes everybody second guess every ruling, even if it's a slam dunk.
