The literal, actual ATF - the ATF!!!! - leaked to the WSJ that there was "trans ideology" on the bullets. Well, as it turns out, that "trans ideology" just a ****ing manufacturing stamp, on every same piece of ammo. And then it comes out, and they go "Whoopsie" - NO. No, you knew better. You knew you were lying and you knew you were painting a target on trans people, and that was the point. The people who want to believe this was some far-left trans person - instead of the nihilistic Fuentes guy he appears to actually be - will never hear or see the retraction. They'll never believe it.
The press is not absolved. WSJ appears to have gotten this from only one source, then the NYT and WaPo repeated what WSJ said. Where is the multiple sourcing? To report something so inflammatory?
