has been replaced by these one-off events.

Mass murderers can now be easily caught thanks to DNA technology. They also do it for the notoriety.

Now, they - mostly white, younger men - have turned to one big event to get attention. School killings, Vegas, church shootings, and increasingly, political assassinations.

And yes, it is actually quite terrifying to think of.
