I'm at the airport and I watch people take off sandals or flip flops to walk barefoot through security, I cringe and think of how germy that floor must be. I don't miss the days people dressed up to fly (I'm too young for those days anyways <g>) but I've had a pretty hard and fast rule about wearing shoes AND socks when flying.
