destination if the ones I wore break. Of course, they probably won’t be my comfy Crocs flip flops. But I’ll live. At beach destinations, I’m barefoot most of the day on the beach, by the pool, in the condo. The only time I put shoes on is in the evening when I go out for dinner. During the day, I wear my flip flops to get from my condo to the first water I submerge in that day, be it sea or pool. Then the flip flops live in my beach bag or under my lounger chair for the rest of the day. The sand in Mexico is cool even at high noon onthe hottest day. So, no need to wear shoes on the sand like on Long Island where the sand gets blistering hot.
