So what did everyone think of the tribute episode? I was underwhelmed.

What I liked:

The wonderful flashbacks were so nostalgic. I had forgotten about Luke and Laura dancing in the department store. The Tracy/Luke--hell, even the Carly/Luke ones.

The temporary true for characters who don't ordinarily get along. It was nice to see.

Lulu seeing Luke (TG's final scene) as he walked off into the fog.

The acting.

What I disliked:

TG was an eight time Emmy winner. Whether you liked Luke or hated his guts--his character made a huge, unforgettable impact to the show. He was only supposed to be on a 2-3 weeks I think. GF and TG are the first and only soap stars to grace the cover of Newsweek Magazine. That's a big deal. So then why the hell were there only SIX characters paying tribute?!

Where was Aiden, Alexis, Felicia, Michael, Jason and most of all--Lucas! He's named after Luke for crying out loud. Instead of that day player Teri--they could should have had Lucas or Aiden there. A character and actor that were both larger than life deserved better.

Take a look at Epiphany's send off--22 characters were on set for that. [link]
