“Excuse us a minute.” Jax, who’d just come in behind Skye, grabbed her hand and yanked her outside.
Once outside Skye pulled Jax to her, kissing him hard. “Her eyes are everywhere,” she whispered against his lips after pulling back slightly.
Jax bent his head, kissing her neck between speaking, “You’re working for her.”
Skye pulled his head up, kissing him lightly, “She thinks so.”
“Skye-”
“I know it’s dangerous Jax. We can’t trust her not to kill Michael. Besides, it’s too late to go back.”
Jax wanted to argue, to tell her he could take her away, but he knew she was right and wouldn’t leave if she could. Once she loves she pulls out all
stops, he thought to himself. “Damn it Skye, I don’t want to lose you.”
“You won't, I can handle it, I couldn’t not do anything.”
Jax pulled her closer, and for awhile their kisses went without words between them. Skye reluctantly pushed him away. Their eyes spoke what had to be done.
They walked back in, giving off the air of having argued.
“Skye’s right, we can’t trust Kristina, there’s still a possibility of her being dangerous.”
