we got our first snowfall of the season last night and it was somewhat significant. The forecasters all warned of up to 6" of snow in the snowbelt where I lived...we only got about 2", but now they're saying snow on and off all day and more snow throughout the night for a possible total of 9" of snow 😨 At first I thought I got lucky...I'm off today so no battling through the snow to get to work*. But now I have to worry about snow tomorrow morning for my shift. So far, it's not really sticking to roads and driveways, so that's good.

* This week is the annual Cleveland Pizza Week, during which a number of pizzerias and Italian (or not so Italian) restaurants offer discounted pizzas. The restaurants choose which pizza, or pizzas, to feature...many this year are not all that interesting. A lot of places are doing pepperoni pizzas or cheese pizzas, and a surprising number are doing pepperoni with a hot honey drizzle, which I'm not interested in. Also, the price has, of course, gone up. The attraction of Pizza Week in the past has been a chance to try a new pizza place for Domino's Pizza prices. Now a "discounted" pizza during Cleveland Pizza Week is $12--up from $10 last year and up from $7 when it started in the late 2010s :-( I usually try 3-4 new places--pizza freezes well!--but this year, I will likely only try two. I was considering going somewhere to get pizza for lunch today but now I'm hesitating due to the weather.
