that snow has a sound, just as much as rain does. To my ear, the underlying sound of snow is a kind of quiet peacefulness, even when it's snowing absolute buckets. I heard that today and smelled the crisp coolness of snowy air...and now I don't want to hear or smell it again till Christmas <g>.
