maybe its because i'm older and don't get to see all the people who I generally see at weddings like cousins and old college friends.
But i don't love TRAVELING to weddings. the last one I went to was a Saturday evening affair and we arrived Saturday morning and left Sunday morning.
i love the ceremony, the dresses, the flowers, the toasts...all of it! i cry at the vows and the toasts and get down on the dance floor when the Chicken dance comes on. LOL
I guess Wahoo and I are about the same age because ALL of the weddings I went to when i was in college and younger had HOURS between the ceremony and the reception and it's only been in the last decade or so that the time has become more truncated. my favorites are the one-stop-shops where the ceremony and reception are at the same location and there is no break between the two.
