I’m in the homestretch leg (!) of this injury that has lasted about 6 weeks. There is no way I’m ready to do six flights of stairs yet. The elevator repair company was here on Friday, replaced a part, but needs to do some fine tuning, which they won’t do until after the holiday weekend. They left some equipment in the lobby and disappeared on Friday afternoon. Sigh. No beach for me this Labor Day. It’s kind of on the cool side anyway, which I’m grateful for. I’m also grateful that I didn’t end up in the hospital with the nasty infection I had. I haven’t watched this much TV since the last time I had surgery.
