orthopedic injury are you doing the PT for? I had PT after a pathologic femur fracture that didn’t heal for two years post-major open emergency surgery. I did PT again after an Achilles tendon rupture and again after a knee injury and surgery.

Core strengthening has been a part of all of my PT because a stronger core takes some of the stress off of the injury sight. I went to PT, did the homework and eventually stopped sessions with the PT pro and used all I had learned in those sessions and became my own PT, transferring a lot of the work to my pool. Exercising in water instead of on land is much easier on the injury site. Plus I swam and will continue to swim a lot of laps which allowed me to really get moving and send oxygen-rich blood to the injury sites. I continue to swim laps to stay healthy.

In short, PT was worth the work and pain. I healed 100% from my various injuries. Good luck! I hope you feel better soon.
