On the one hand, I agree that Amira is mature enough to make her own decision regarding returning for the funeral. And I think she's going to be very angry when she finds out long after the fact that Mags died. OTOH, she's in England for some kind of STEM program that I'm assuming will be beneficial to her future endeavors. We know nothing about this (fictitious <g>) program but I'm assuming it's not one you just can leave and then come back to (assuming there's the funds to make another round trip across the pond). Had Amira simply been in London on vacation with friends, then absolutely tell her; I would hope she'd actually fly back for the funeral and support her brother. But the situation is a bit more complicated, I think.
