I am curious to read what my fellow SZoners feel is missing for them. Here are my answers:

Intelligent, complex, multi-faceted characters - I feel like majority of the characters have been dumbed down. There is no way Chase would still be so invested in bringing Michael down. As BLQ pointed out--Willow was acquitted and reunited with her family. Let it go bro. And then to find the keys and go to Drew's house to test his theory??? Chase knows better than that. We need more moments like when Nina talked to the bartender and showed him Sasha and Jason's photos. He confirmed Sasha was there but not Jason Morgan. Nina then brilliantly showed him a picture of Michael and he was like--yup. He gave me a huge tip and they left together. And now we have Lucas who is suddenly regressed to this naive guy who can't figure out his love life without relying heavily on Elizabeth for advice. The WSB has been back for over a year and what has been accomplished? Nothing.

Action - Can I please get some more action. Sure we got two Mikey vs Chase fights but we need more. Can I please have a car accident, plane crash, or tornado?

Quit dropping plots - A year ago, Jenz presented Alexis with the dagger Helena used to murder her mother. She declined his gift and when she left, he picked it up with a handkerchief. Clearly, he had plans to frame her for something and nothing came from it. Britt was beyond uncomfortable when "Nathan" showed up. She didn't want James to be around him. A few weeks later, it was dinner and conversations like nothing happened.

Pulled from the headlines stories - The truth is way stranger than fiction...especially lately. Can we have a school shooting that impacts: Charlotte, Danny, Rocco and their parents? Angry/bullied kid brings a gun to school and fires it. Everyone runs and hides and the school is on lockdown. Cops show up and neutralize the shooter. But then we get to see the aftermath of how shaken the teens are.

Capitalize on missed opportunities - Willow taking on the alternate personality of twin sister Nelle was right there! Ava and Ric were a match made in heaven. They slept together a few times and then he betrayed her out of nowhere. They could have been a top power couple in PC. Sex trafficking. How about Trina, Emma, and Joss involved in something like that at PCU?

The Dialogue - It needs to be freshened up and more snappy. And for the love of Jebus, make an argument balanced vs showing an obvious slant.

Dump these characters that are flops/boring - Plane crash, bird flu, mass shooting, or tornado that can rid us of: Cody, Sidwell, Ross, Jacinda, and maybe even Marco. Use that money to recast: Spencer, Dillion Q, Nikolas, or Morgan. Why they felt that Teethan was needed on the canvas is a mystery to me. He is not!
