she was clearly falling apart post non-wedding. Although, if I'm being brutally honest, I'm not sure how sympathetic I'd be if my partner cheated on me with one of my relatives and was willing to marry them despite all the warning signs. IMO, Michael did not have to come to her aid himself BUT he absolutely should've contacted someone close to her to come help her.
That said, I still don't feel her breakdown can be entirely placed on that judge's ruling. Her behavior and questionable decision making and allowing herself to be lead around by Drew went back way before that ruling. She put herself in a position to be in a custody battle in the first place by all the horrendous decisions she and she alone made up to that point.
