I mean, being the daughter of Faison comes with its share of headaches, danger and possibly perks. It could be that they gave her the experimental drug, that has repressed her symptoms and in exchange for her expertise on the secret project.
When everything comes out, we'll probably not be surprised how stupid it is.
And yes, the writing is murky and inconsistent as ever. Example, how are they handling Ric's need to relieve himself or bathe? Are they untying him so he can eat or are they feeding him?
We'll never know that. Their idea of dealing with that is just not showing him. Easy peasy. 😆
