For me, it was Luke and Holly. Don't get me wrong, I loved (and love) Luke & Laura, but if GF wasn't going to be on the show, I wanted Luke to move on, and it was fun to watch him fall for someone so different from Laura. Emma Samms was not a good actress, but when the writing is good, I don't even care.
