Steve Carrell is a famous writer whose ex-wife (CONNIE BRITTON!!) is a wealthy donor at a small liberal arts college where his daughter is a professor, and he visits and ends up as writer-in-residence so his daughter, embroiled in a scandal as her husband (Phil Dunster), another professor, cheated on her with a grad student. John C McGinley plays the college president and Danielle Dywyler plays another professor.
It's typical Bill Lawrence. Not as good as Scrubs, but definitely entertaining. Especially with Connie Britton and John C. McGinley (Walt is nowhere near as good as Dr. Cox, but McGinley is always amazing.) This is the most fun I've seen Connie Britton, who I adore, have in a long time. El Chico and I both enjoyed it.
