I loved the maid Madelaine being the real Evelyn and the reveal that Evelyn was a sociopath who wasn't really worth saving. I also loved how the book began with us thinking Anna was some damsel in distress that also needed saving but instead she turned out to be a woman with her own murderous past, hated by many in the WORLD. It was an interesting concept that Blackheath is both a place where the events actually happened but also a prison/game where criminals are sent to be rehabilitated. Though I'm not entirely sure solving mysteries = learning your lesson and being rehabilitated but eh, there are worse ways to be incarcerated for sure.
