are carrying the food home. Extra weight matters quickly and if they drop the bag, they'll be carrying home a mess with food they can't eat.

Also, the mail carriers aren't always gentle when [they] pick up the food and toss it into the back of their vehicles. [The teens don't always place things gently into the bins at the food bank either. Sometimes they shot put/toss them like they're making a free throw shot.]
