Yesterday I had to run home to take medicine that I forgot to take in the morning (and it turns out I'd forgotten Tuesday too, no wonder I felt like crap!!!) and when I turned the corner onto my street, I saw the delivery guy from Home Depot leaving.
In a small SUV.
So I think their free delivery is dependent on how big the items are, not how much they cost. I guess he can get 10 2cu ft bags of soil in his vehicle in one trip but for more than that they'd have to use a different delivery service.
And then it rained so I didn't get a chance to spread anything around - the planter was delivered yesterday too (a day early!) so I may try and put it together this afternoon if it's not raining. Most of the planting will probably happen on Saturday.
