We took a quick trip to DC. Got there Friday afternoon and left Sunday late am.

Although most of the cherry blossoms were gone, we did find a tree with some blooms still on it.

We wanted to go to the top of the Washington Monument but couldn't get tickets. Maybe another time and we'll plan for it in advance. Evidently that is key.

We did so much walking but we knew that going in.

Glad we went, had a good time. We hadn't been in DC in years!
