Outlook can't find documents/emails I KNOW I sent or saved, and that I only find after the 5th attempt to locate it. But we know how it crashed on the Artemis II astronauts this week.
But we recently did some VPN update and OMG, what a clown show. Another fab MS product. Not. On Tuesday, I come in and cannot connect to our Wifi or VPN at all. Do a reboot nothing. Finally get on the phone with a lovely woman at our help desk. Took her 90 minutes to fix this - the latest VPN update had literally erased my password.
HOW IS THIS EVEN ACCEPTABLE?
Multiple colleagues had the same issue this week, too.
THEN...yesterday I am working on a very time sensitive project in Word. Had to make three legislative profiles. One took just fine.
The next two? I created them, starting with a copy and paste from another profile, and making all the changes. I had autosave on. Checked at least twice on them. They were there.
Today? They are not in the folder as I updated them...they are still showing only the original profile which I had edited and doublechecked. We finally think to check my saved Word docs, and our fecking system had saved them somewhere else in a folder I did not use.
DESPITE THE FACT THAT I USED THE CORRECT FOLDER ADDRESS ALL ALONG, KEPT USING THAT. Saw the correct profiles in there last night. But today? Somewhere out on ShareNet which I barely know how to use.
Sorry for going on and on, but I am so tired of the hours I am now spending trying to get around all of MS' bugs.
Anyone else having this problem? It's infuriating.
