I know the actor because I watched him on Another World with my mom years ago. They could've done a lot more with him but the show was near the end at that point.
Man I loved this show! But holy cannoli, I forgot how racy it was. "Fade to Black" was NOT an option on this show, lol. Naked butts everywhere and lots of side boob too. Also the cursing. I do remember that they were one of the first shows to push the envelope and airing at 10PM helped their case. Oh and they air the N word and other racial slurs without bleeping them. I don't remember if this was an ABC show or an NBC show, but I do remember that it was ahead of it's time with the realism.
That's why I'm surprised my mom watched this show this isn't her thing tbh but she likes shows involving mysteries etc. Yes back then it was controversial to show this on network TV.
I saw a few episodes here and there but nothing on a regular basis. Although a lot of those actors showed up on Without a Trace through the years a show my mom watched with me and recognized the actors.
