everyone had internet and smart phones but we had TVs in that office because of the nature of the business. So we watched the launch. In horror. I remember talking about it in the elevator on our way down to get lunch. It was like “OMG. The shuttle blew up.” And people in the elevator from other businesses, who didn’t have TV in their offices and hadn’t watched the launch, misunderstood what we were talking about and thought the Times Square shuttle had blown up. That’s a very.busy piece of the subway. Thankfully that shuttle had not blown up.
