the news about JFK's assassination, MLK's assassination etc. But I absolutely remember exactly where I was when I heard about the Challenger explosion. (In a Bryn Mawr sandwich shop standing in line to order my lunch)

Funny story.....our FL place is located in what's called the "Space Coast". We're about 50 minutes South of Cape Canaveral where they launch the rockets. We can walk five minutes to the beach look North and watch the launches. We're currently in PA, not FL. But a ton of our FL friends were posting pics and videos of the launch on Facebook. A friend of one of our younger friends (most of our FL friends are older, lol) commented about being nervous and mentioning the Challenger explosion, said she was in 2nd grade. Someone else replied that it happened on her 5th birthday. I replied that I WAS IN GRAD SCHOOL!!!!!!!
