And schools where my brothers kids are, in NC, closed completely. I think it was warranted, I talked to my mom around 11 and every few minutes she'd tell me the news was showing another tornado warning, luckily none close to her but in the general area.
I think we ended up mainly getting really heavy rain but that was it. I hate that I had to pick Jack up early and then leave him alone at home for about an hour and a half until Mr. Kris got home :( I told him to stay in the family room (basement) and that if he heard something like a freight train to go into the bathroom or walk in closet down there since there are no windows. I know he was worried :( When I was his age I remember many times hiding in the hallway linen closet, the only room in the house with no windows. I'd drag my comforter in there with me, some books, and as many of the cats as I could catch!
