performance as twins was subtle and nuanced. I always knew which brother was talking but there was no over-the-top acting to make sure we knew whether he was Smoke or Stack. I absolutely loved the “I Lied to You” scene. I read somewhere that in theaters, many people left as soon as the credits started to roll. Wow. Those people missed a very important ending that happened during the credits. Sammie grew up to be one of the greats and lived a long life playing his music. Loved Buddy Guy playing older Sammie.
I loved Sinners but I loved a few other movies just as much this year. Good thing I don’t actually get to vote!
