Yeah, it's definitely not Erdrich's best work (all the online reviews of it say that). It wasn't bad, but...I just never got into it.

I've read other, better books by her, so...it was just this one.

I'm going to have to give The Night Watchman another try since it's the one that won the Pulitzer....I don't think I was in a mood for it when I gave it a try a couple of years ago.
