Right?!! I was watching and thinking that it was so refreshing to see an apocalypse where there are still good people in the world and good things can still happen.

Good people still exist and try to help each other. I was worried for Annie when the group of men showed up in episode 1 but, surprise! They weren't horrible or violent. I mean, we know they have an agenda (which, honestly, I support it so far) but no one tried to hurt her or made her uncomfortable. Then she and Xavier met this new group who did all they could to help. No doubt we will meet some very bad people, probably soon, but it's a hopeful take that many people are still decent to one another.

I was SOOO grateful the show wasn’t going to hand me a dead baby or a dead mother. Then *GUT PUNCH.* I’m sorry to see Annie go.

It was really shocking. I thought she was going to be a big part of the story going forward.

Agree that Xavier should have temporarily left the baby. He can still keep his promise after he finds Terri. When I pictured him riding into Atlanta, that picture did not include a newborn!

I keep wondering how he is going to feed this baby? There are no supermarkets to drop by and stock up on formula. I need that addressed. 🤣🤣 He really should have left the baby with that community just until he found his wife. His trying to search for Terri with a newborn is crazy.

Speaking of Terri, where is she? Her new best friend says she was “taken” from him. I’m choosing to believe she’s still alive and has been kidnapped. Maybe by Sinatra.

I hadn't considered Sinatra. That would make a lot of sense. I was just thinking maybe some local turf war between Terri's group and some other rival one in Atlanta.

Not something I had considered, but you make a good point. Maybe they have all or mostly all gathered in large communities we haven’t seen yet?

Xavier being in the outside world has brought up a few plot holes in the story and the lack of people is one of them. Even the community they met didn't seem like a huge one. Atlanta, tho, that seems like a place that more people should be in trying to rebuild society.

Another plot hole for me was Xavier finding that big bag of flour in the restaurant. No way someone wouldn't have cleaned that place out of all its supplies within days of things falling apart. 😂 Also, the horse coming back to Graceland after Annie set them free. Someone would have found and taken those horses years ago, to use as transportation or even, when things got really bad, for food.

Agree. I’m especially glad we get to keep James Marsden’s President Bradford. I like him. And I’m glad you get to keep seeing Billy. I like him too.

Bradford is so dang charming. I'm glad they're letting Marsden stick around. I loved Billy last season. I know he was a bad guy but he was so ride-or-die for Xavier & the kids that I couldn't help but like him in a "He's a psycho but he's OUR psycho" way.

Also, what is up with Xavier's dreams of Link? Did they meet once? I'm hoping they're not going too supernatural with him having visions of the future or something. I like that the show is grounded in reality, which I know is weird to say considering the whole underground city, end of the world of it all.
