I think it was 2014 when I saw the first couple of episodes, and I probably put it off until it was over.
Ranks up with The Americans for all the details in a completely different decade (The Americans edges out Mad Men though...I finished The Americans in Nov 2024 and I'm still thinking about it)
I don't know how I thought it was going to end, but I did like the ending.
Knowing so many of the actors from other shows probably influenced how I liked their characters. I don't think I knew Christina Hendricks from anything, and Joan was definitely one of my fave characters, if not my fave.
I have never liked John Slattery's characters, but Roger didn't bother me as much here as he did in other shows.
I kinda feel at times that this could have been the hell dimension Conner from Angel (played by Vincent Kartheiser) grew up in, and it would likely be Annie (Allison Brie's) darkest timeline from Community, ending up with someone like Pete Campbell...
