I got a new iPad and it came with a 3 month free trial to Apple so I watched some stuff, including this movie. It was okay, I guess. I'm not much of a romcom person and I truly hate this idea as a version of eternity.
The plot is that when people die, they all meet up in a sort of "waiting area" until they choose who or where they want to spend eternity. The main character -- who died at like 100 years old but naturally appears in the afterlife as her younger, hotter self -- must choose between her first husband who died young in the Korean War or her second husband whom she lived a full life with and raised a family with. The second husband in the after life is Miles Teller so that pretty much tells you how it ends, right? 😂 But I hate the idea of being made to choose one person to spend eternity with. Like, what about her kids and grandkids? Does she never get to see them again? What kind of crappy Heaven is that?
