I do them on paper usually, (with my computer showing the forms and instructions). And then do them again about a week or 2 later. If I come up with the same numbers, we file.

Local is easy.

State & Federal are more complicated because hubby plays a bit with the stock market.

It's time to put it away for a week or so. Then go back and check my numbers.
