climb above freezing for the first time in 2026, we hit 50° AND it was sunny, quiet and beautiful. I still wore my winter coat to work--it had dropped to 39° when I left the store--but I didn't need a hat or my bulky scarf, AND my hands, feet and nose were actually warm. Ah, bliss!
Actually, I could've enjoyed the day a bit more and gone for a walk but from late yesterday afternoon to around noon today, I had a bit of a headache (brought on by the temperature change, I'm sure) and wasn't quite in the mood to do much more than sit in my chair and watch TV.
