On Wednesday, I made a sesame teriyaki stir fry for dinner. Earlier that day, I'd made some Aldi's Specially Selected garlic & herb goat cheese risotto for my lunch (spoiler alert: it's not particularly good) and only ate about 1/3 of it. This afternoon before work, I made cheeseburger rice, complete with a homemade cheddar cheese sauce (SO good!) and had some leftover cheese sauce. Tonight, I came home thinking I'd eat the rest of the disappointing risotto...I couldn't find it in the fridge. I asked Dad and he said he ate some of it and put the rest in a smaller bowl (our fridge is pretty small so he often transfers leftovers to smaller containers). I told him I didn't know he ate risotto; he said "What's that?" He thought it was leftover rice from the night I made the sesame teriyaki stir fry. And because he thought that, he threw the rest of the stir fry on top of the garlic and herb goat cheese risotto and topped it all off with the rest of the cheddar cheese sauce 🤢
I asked him how it was and he shrugged and said it was "fine".
