truly marathonable show for this freezing dead-of-winter week. It is terrific. It’s an HBO 8-episode miniseries about a young Pakistani-American student who wakes up next to a girl who was stabbed to death. He doesn’t remember what happened and is accused of murder. Riz Ahmed plays the kid and John Turturro plays his lawyer. Richard Price, one of this show’s co-creators and writers wrote for The Wire and The Deuce and that is evident in the way this show is written. Really good stuff.
