getting subtitles for the Russian on HBO Max. CC is off and I watch plenty of movies and shows that have subtitles with no problem. But not this. I don’t know why. And that was a long Russian sequence to watch without subtitles. So…I found a clip of just the scenes in Russia and rewatched that part. I’m glad I did. It was important. I’m feeling for Ilya much more now that I’ve watched those scenes with his father in Russia with subtitles. So glad he has a friend like Svetlana. I hope he starts talking to Shane about some of his family stuff soon. Oh and I caught most of the sexts and texts in this episode. There were a few I missed but I’m pretty sure I got the gist. I like this show enough to continue watching. But damn, the missing subtitles are frustrating.
