My son and husband are avid fishermen.

Therefore, they are involved in fishing habitat projects. On the day after Christmas they pick up un-purchased trees and help them to become underwater fish habitats. So while they didn't get to be someone's Christmas tree... they will get to be a home for little fishes!

So they get to have a good valuable purpose and they were not chopped down for no good reason!
