people out on scheduled PTO (Paid time off/vacation).
Things are a little slower this time of year for rentals. So, we all were balancing spreadsheets, etc and trying to find something to do.
Tuesday, we ended up short 2 people in my department. The one was sick (He was complaining of a sore throat and sneezing on Monday). Carolyn showed up but had to leave around 10:30. Her mother is in hospice and they called her. :((
So, we're down to 5 out of a normal 12. Yesterday was a scramble to get the 2 extra people's properties dealt with. We managed it though.
Oh, did I mention that we needed to send statements to residents yesterday? argh!
Today I did a last bit of running around. Made some chocolate chip cookie bars, wrapped all the presents that hadn't been wrapped. Have a load of laundry That will need moved to the dryer in a few minutes.
After church tomorrow, it's back home to change and then off to his brother's house about a 40-minute drive north.
We'll get together with the kids over the weekend as their time/schedule permits.
