As some of you may remember I started vacation the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Saturday we flew from Nashville to San Jose... then stayed somewhere a hour or so north of San Jose... then Sunday we drove from there all the way up the California coast to Depoe Bay... with various stops and adventures along the way! Arrived in Depoe Bay around midnight.
I had a whale watching tour booked for today that got cancelled by the charter company... which was God telling me we needed a day to rest so we did. Kind of... My husbands cousin who moved to Oregon 31 years ago drove up from the beach town she lives in a couple of hours south of Depoe Bay... and aside from visiting with her we just did some shopping and sitting outside and watching the ocean.
Tomorrow onto Washington! I have another whale watching tour planned and a visit to Levenworth to see the Christmasy wonderfulness!
