that's what i've always done, that's what my dad always told ME to do - with front wheel drive. i have AWD, so it's better to get them all replaced at once (although finances being what they are, I'll often go 6 months between doing the front and back, but don't tell anyone!)

i also need new tires because my car is garbage in the snow - but I'll need all 4, no way around it and I just cannot do that right now! maybe if i get a bonus.
