animated specials I grew up on. Last Saturday before work, I turned on TBS, thinking I'd watch an episode of Friends*, and instead, they were airing Year Without a Santa Claus. I rather like YWaSC even if Santa's kind of a jerk in it (he's kind of a jerk in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer too...) but I'm not watching animated Christmas specials in mid-November <g>.
* I swear there's reruns of Friends and Big Bang Theory on all. The. Time. Just have to check different channels. I don't mind though as I like both shows; they're "comfort TV" for me.
A few years ago, Spectrum decided to only include Freeform with their more expensive packages. I refused to pay more and usually I don't miss the channel...but I always did love 25 days of Christmas.
