on Netflix. It’s the story of James Garfield, who rose from obscurity to become America's 20th President and Charles Guiteau, the man who assassinated him. It’s a fascinating piece of our history that I knew next to nothing about. The script and production was very good but it was the awesome cast that got me interested in watching. Led by Michael Shannon as Garfield and Matthew MacFadyen as Guiteau, the supporting cast includes Bradley Whitford, Betty Gilpin, Nick Offerman, Shea Whigham, Pamela Malcomson and others. I would not be surprised if this show gets some Emmy nominations.
