i watched just part of the first episode and saw it was a literal re-do, so i just ff to the last episode to see if they ended it the same. they did not, but it didn't salvage anything and it wasn't picked up for any additional seasons.

i love everything about this series, except that it's only 3 seasons long and it's about over.

David Tennant plays a somewhat similar but much darker role in DepartmentQ, which is just stellar television. also on netflix.
