I have to admit, it's pretty. I'm especially enchanted by the bare branches coated in a layer of snow (the way they get when it rains first, then freezes, then snows) and by the remaining maple trees that still have a number of their leaves AND now have a coating of snow. A neighbor has a small maple tree with almost all its leaves still attached...they turned a vibrant yellow and look SO pretty with a dusting of white!
Right now, it's sunny...but that's supposed to change tonight. We'll see!
ETA--literally 5 minutes after posting this, it started snowing HARD. Gotta love the capriciousness of the weather this time of the year!
