was horrible. It became very repetitive (Captain Tripps! Dreams!) etc.
If you read it, read it one story at a time instead of all at once, and it might read better. I'm not a huge fan of short stories either. (And so many I had to skip ahead to the next one because of all the animal cruelty...) I was just...feeling tortured :-/
Since he is so good at everything, I'd like to see King take over GH for six months or so for a complete reset of the show :P He could recreate The Dead Zone with Drew in the Greg Stillson role and end Drew's reign of actual horror!
At any rate The Stand was very well worth the re-read. I had forgotten so much.
