but the only TV that now shows Netflix is in the spare room where Dad hangs out most of the day, so I can't watch anything in there until after 10:30 PM or so (Dad's bedtime <g>), and as much as I enjoyed this show, I'd watch an episode or so and then doze off.
Anyways...it's a fun show, scary but not scary. It reminds me a lot of the recently cancelled The Great North, and not just because one of the characters on HH is voiced by Will Forte, who also voiced Wolf in TGN. Actually, parallels can be made between a lot of the characters on the two shows...Katherine is basically a female Beef, both showing a lot of love and patience with their kids. Nathan (voiced by Forte) is essentially Wolf minus all the movie quotes; both are incredibly sweet-natured. Ben (HH) = Ham (TGN), with both being very positive. Esther (HH) is just as creative as Judy (TGN) except she uses her powers for bad instead of good. And Abbadon (HH) is essentially Moon (TGN)...if Moon was a demon trapped in the body of a 17th century child made immortal by accident by his priest father.
I highly recommend Haunted Hotel, even if it's past Halloween.
