We have an extremely low vacancy rate in our area. It's a highly desirable area. One of the few areas here that haven't flipped to a buyer's market. We've been on the market for 3+ months. It's been really hard to even find things we like, and most have defects.
Since this is a VA loan, everything would have to be up to snuff before we can close. You simply cannot complete a transaction if the roof and health and safety factors are subpar.
So, I am really not worried at all. Plus, we can always pull out.
