I definitely use more than they say. I also never add the liquid from the mushrooms back in with the mushrooms towards the end of the recipe.
For the dessert I'm debating either making a cake from scratch with buttercream icing, or maybe a pavlova. I'm going to look at a few cookbooks.
I also was going through my grandma's recipes recently and I was reminded of a recipe for cookies from a friend of hers (it was always a treat when we'd go to her house and Ginny had been over, they were so good!). I hope I have the recipe in my recipe box, because it wasn't in my grandma's. I only tried to make them once and they didn't turn out the same so I want to give it another go.
