and then decorations. I used to decorate cakes (not very well, lol) years ago but I can't remember the last time I made one.
chicken piccata for dinner a few nights ago with sides of fettuccine Alfredo and fresh spinach sautéed with fresh garlic. It was delicious. But risotto sounds good too.
I really think I'm going to give the pasta a try. But have the ingredients for the risotto on hand in case it goes poorly, lol.
What is a “regular” birthday cake? My last two birthday cakes were tres leches this year and cheesecake with mixed fruit on top last year. Do you know what your birthday guests’ favorite cakes are? Are there two birthday peeps?
It's a couple, one's birthday was Monday and the other's is the 30th. I actually don't know if they have a favorite cake. I probably should, I've known them 30+ years, lol.
I was also considering a pavlova. Haven't made one in ages though.
